Webinar Presentation: Filipino Nurses Migration to the U.S. and Their Impact on Healthcare

Dr. Karen Arca-Contreras, DNP, RN-BC Associate Professor of Nursing and Success Coaching Program Coordinator and Dr. Randella Sasa, Assistant Director of Nursing Programs and Associate Professor from Bronx Community College will speak about the migration of Filipino nurses to the United States.

Filipino nurses provide one of the most significant examples of skilled labor migration in the world. For more than a century, Filipino nurses have played a vital role in strengthening the U.S. healthcare system while contributing to the economic well-being of their families and communities in the Philippines.
