The Willowbrook Mile is located on the former site of the Willowbrook State School – partially on the campus of the College of Staten Island of the City University of New York (CSI/CUNY) and partially on property controlled by the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). Please note distinct entry guidelines for these two sites.
The Willowbrook Mile @ CSI/CUNY
- The Willowbrook Mile on the grounds of the College of Staten Island (Stations 1-6 and 11-12) is open all days from dawn to dusk except for those days when the College is closed.
- Please refer to the College of Staten Island’s academic calendar to determine when the college is closed at Academic Calendars and Final Examination Schedule
- Public Safety officers at the entrance gates can provide you with map of the Willowbrook Mile, and information about where to park on the CSI Campus.
- Daily Parking permit for visitors can be obtain at https://csi.aimsparking.com/permits/?cmd=new_non_auth

The Willowbrook Mile @ OPWDD
- The Willowbrook Mile on the grounds of the OPWDD (Stations 7-10) is open Monday through Friday from dawn to dusk. On weekends, Stations 7 (Baby Unit) and 8 (Connelly Center) are not accessible.
- Parking for the Willowbrook Mile @ OPWDD is available next to Station 10 along Forest Hill Road and D Street.
