Alumni & Community

An Integral Part of the Community

At CSI, we are part of a thriving, dynamic community – both our own alumni body and the Staten Island community where we reside. CSI has changed significantly since its beginnings in 1956 as Staten Island Community College. But one thing has remained constant: the school's vital and visible presence in our community.

Our alumni community extends our outstanding college experience past graduation day. Every CSI graduate is automatically a member of the CSI Alumni Association and is invited to participate in our social, educational, mentoring, and exclusive benefits programs.

We are dedicated to helping the people of Staten Island enrich their lives professionally and culturally. The College of Staten Island continues to bring together our campus and Staten Island communities to make people's lives better and more prosperous. Below you can find just some of the resources that CSI offers the Staten Island community.
