Save 8.875% on food and beverage purchases by enrolling in a student meal plan program! Meal plan purchases for students are tax exempt. You can use your meal plan to purchase beverages and food at all campus dining facilities.

Meal plans consist of two different accounts, each tax exempt when making food and/or beverage purchases:
Dining Dollars: The account which holds the funds for meal plan. Note that all first-time CSI students residing in dolphin cove are required to purchase either blue dolphin, gray dolphin, green dolphin meal plan for the first (2) consecutive semesters of residency. This is a pre-paid, declining balance account that can be accessed using your DolphinCard. Each time you make a purchase, the purchase amount is subtracted from your account balance. All purchases of food and/or beverages made using this account are exempt from NYS sales tax.
Dining Plus Dollars: If/when meal plan Dining Dollar funds have been exhausted, students and/or their parents have the option of making additional deposits to the Dining Plus Dollars Account. Dining Plus dollars may be used to purchase food and beverages at all Campus Dining Facilities anytime that meal plan service is in operation (see Meal Plan Contract Period for specific information). A minimum deposit of $50.00 is required. Purchases made using these funds are NYS sales tax exempt.
Meal plans are non-transferrable. All unused Dining Dollars and Dining Plus Dollars are forfeited at the end of each contracted semester and may not be carried over semester to semester.

- *Gray Dolphin Plan: $1,500/Semester ($3,000 Annual)
- *Green Dolphin plan: $935/Semester ($1,870 Annual)
- Commuter Dolphin Plan: $300/Semester ($600 Annual)
*First-time CSI Students residing in Dolphin Cove are required to purchase either blue dolphin, gray dolphin, green dolphin plan. Commuters may purchase any plan.
Meal Plan Contract Period:
Meal plan service will begin with dinner on the first day of official move in date for Dolphin Cove each semester and end with lunch on the last day of final exams for each semester. Please refer to the academic calendar for specific dates.
Please note, meal service will not be available during the following holidays when the College is officially closed: Thanksgiving Break and Winter Break.
Modified meal service will be available during the following holidays when the College is officially closed: Labor Day, Columbus Day, Lincoln’s Birthday and President’s Day.
Meal service will be available on days that classes are not in session and the College is officially operational (as listed in the official academic calendar).

Please note that first year residents of Dolphin Cove are required to purchase Blue Dolphin, Gray Dolphin, Green Dolphin Meal Plan for both the Fall and Spring terms. First Year Residents of Dolphin Cove are required to complete and email a Meal Plan contract prior to the start of the semester. Failure to submit may result in an academic block.

Both students and Faculty/Staff may deposit funds into the FinBucks account. This account may be used for purchases made in the Bookstore, Dolphin Print, Parking & DolphinCard Services, Vending Machines, Dolphin Cove laundry facilities, and the purchase of food throughout campus.
Funds placed into this account will roll over semester to semester, as long as the cardholder is affiliated with the college. Upon separation from the College, refunds may be requested.
