Honoring Our Past. Inspiring Our Future.
For 50 years, the College of Staten Island has been a place where people come together to learn, discover, create, serve, and build what’s next.
During the 2026–2027 academic year, we celebrate 50 years of the College of Staten Island, building on 70 years of public higher education on Staten Island. From our earliest beginnings to the College we are today, our story is one of opportunity, transformation, and the people who have made CSI what it is.
And our next chapter is just beginning.
50 Years. Thousands of Stories. One CSI.
From classrooms and laboratories to athletic fields, stages, studios, and community spaces, CSI’s history lives in the experiences of the people who have shaped our College.
Throughout our anniversary year, we’ll celebrate the people, places, traditions, and moments that define CSI—and look ahead to the possibilities of the next 50 years.
Honor our history. Recognize our community. Celebrate our impact. Inspire our future. #CSIat50
