The Office of Government Relations serves as a liaison to local, state, and federal government entities and representatives. The Office, in collaboration with The City University of New York, coordinates advocacy efforts for the College and University consistent with the College’s mission. The Office also coordinates participation with governmental activities and oversees compliance with lobbying requirements.

The City University of New York coordinates its advocacy efforts through the CUNY External Relations Council comprised of representatives from its colleges.  Questions regarding government relations at CSI may be directed to the College’s representatives.

This notice is for State employees

Lobbyists and Clients are required to publicly disclose information about business relationships with State Persons, regardless of when the relationship commenced, if the criteria for a Reportable Business Relationships (RBR) exist.

Please review the attached memo. If you are a State employee, please sign the memo, complete section II (page 2) and section III (top part of page 3) of the accompanied JCOPE Business Relationship form, and send back the signed memo and completed form to EconomicDevelopment@csi.cuny.edu

The Business Relationship Form must be submitted within 10 days of hire of a state person and paid over $1,000.
