New York League of Puerto Rican Women, Inc
Financial awards are given yearly to undergraduate Puerto Rican Women for exemplary academic performance and service to the community. All applicants must have a minimum of 12 credits and have maintain a 3.0 GPA with no failing grades.

Women Techmakers Scholars Program (formerly the Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship program)
Scholarship furthering the vision of Dr. Anita Borg of creating gender equality in the tech industry by encouraging women to excel as active participants and leaders in the field.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration
Internship opportunity accompanied with a stipend based on students’ academic level and the length of internship. Work with experts and gain valuable experience as you participate in research.

CSTEP National Recognition

  • CSTEP is a nationally recognized program that has made New York State a leader in preparing talented students for careers in STEM and licensed fields.
  • CSTEP was the 2006 recipient of the National Science Foundation Presidential Medal of Excellence for Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring.
  • The CSTEP program has been replicated in several states including Texas and New Jersey.
  • CSTEP students have received recognition for their scholarly research and presentations and among our graduates are Rhodes Scholars and recipients of many other prestigious awards.
  • For the period 1986 to 2007, 700 CSTEP students participated in research internships in national research facilities such as BNL-Brookhaven National Laboratory.
