Options Program for Mature Learners

Program Highlights: 

• Unlike traditional college courses, there are no exams, no take-home assignments, and no pathways to a degree.
• Options is a unique alternative for seniors seeking to audit college classes. 

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be over the age of 55

Schedule

• Fall Semester: September  – December
• Spring Semester: February - May 
• Classes are offered Monday - Friday.
• Times of day for classes vary 

Tuition

• $30 per course.
• Scholarships for Spring 2024 is now closed: 
  • Scholarships are provided based on financial need and a commitment to attend/complete the courses the recipient registered for. For those who would like to apply for the scholarship, but cannot commit to attending classes, we kindly ask that you refrain from submitting a scholarship application.
• Tuition refunds may be granted upon receipt of an email request to options@csi.cuny.edu at least five business days prior to the first scheduled day of the course. Refund requests will not be honored after the course has begun.
• Classes with insufficient enrollment are subject to cancellation.
