Thank you for your interest in the Medical Laboratory Science Program (MLS) at the College of Staten Island. The Medical Laboratory Science Program has been in existence for nearly four decades. Our program is a NAACLS accredited, 4-year BS MLS program. We are also registered with the New York State Education Department (NYSED) as a licensure qualifying program. Upon graduation, students are eligible to sit for the MLS(ASCP) exam and are eligible for NYS CLT licensure.
The MLS program, at CSI, has been NAACLS-accredited since 2012. NAACLS is committed to being the premier agency for accreditation and approval of education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences and related health care professions.
Submitted as part of the 2023 NAACLS Annual Survey, three MLS Program Outcomes were determined:
- Graduation Rate
- Job Placement Rate
- Certification Exam Pass Rate
The tables for assessment outcomes are found below for time the period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2023.
