Submit Your Application

Apply through the CUNY Application page and pay the application fee. This is the same application used for all CUNY first-time freshman applicants.

Submit Your Educational Documents

Please submit the appropriate documents according to where you studied:

  • Photocopies of secondary school transcripts or marksheets
  • Official transcripts from a U.S. high school, if you attended one
  • Photocopy of your secondary school diploma, or external exam certificates (CXC, GCSE, GCE, WASSCE, etc.). If you have taken WASSCE exams, please also include the information from your scratch card.

Translate Non-English Documents

If any of your transcripts, diplomas, or certificates are not in English, they must be submitted with a certified English translation.

Prove English Language Proficiency 

If you were educated in a non-English speaking environment, you'll need to submit one of the following test scores. Our institutional code for score reporting is 2778.

Not sure whether you need to prove English proficiency, please email international@csi.cuny.edu before testing to confirm.

Submit Everything to CSI

Email photocopies of your documents so our office can add them to your application for review by the CUNY University Application Processing Center.

Your application cannot be completed without these documents - submit them as soon as they're ready, don't wait until the deadline.
