MISSION STATEMENT
bHIP was initiated as an outgrowth of the Staten Island Breast Cancer Research Initiative. Staten Island has the highest female breast cancer incidence and death rates among the five boroughs of New York City for over 40 years.
The health challenges that face NYC women today brought us to develop this Breast Health Information Portal. bHIP will provide individuals with up to date, comprehensive breast health information and enable them to take charge of their well being and make positive breast health choices.
