Who needs to be advised?

ALL STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BE ADVISED PRIOR TO REGISTRATION.

 

When do I need to be advised?

The advisement period begins the first day of every MARCH and OCTOBER.  Registration typically begins the following month after the advisement period.  We encourage all students to meet with their advisors to ensure students that they are progressing towards degree completion. 

Advisement is recommended:

  • Before registering for classes
  • Before declaring/changing a major and/or minor
  • Before dropping/swapping classes
  • Before applying for graduation
