Yes-Together: A Bold Solutions Initiative

Yes-Together: A Bold Solutions Initiative is a program dedicated to young adults ages 18-22, living on Staten Island, who either have previously enrolled in college but have stopped-out or who are first-time college students who have delayed entry into higher education. The Yes—Together program works with prospective students and community partners to facilitate the transition into higher education programming and provides the holistic wraparound supports to connect Staten Island young adults with resources and networking opportunities available on the island.

This initiative is made possible by the generous grant funding of the Carroll and Milton Petrie Foundation and the Heckscher Foundation for Children.

About the Yes-Together: A Bold Solutions Initiative

As a Yes-Together student, you will have access to a dedicated support team that partners with each student. The team will holistically support your unique journey and strategically advance you forward toward personal success.

Students participating in the initiative are given an individualized plan of action with referrals and support to address individual needs. Students are offered the chance to attend school while being connected to job opportunities at the same time with our partnering organizations. A clear, direct path towards academic and professional success is the main goal of the program.

• From the beginning, Yes-Together students are offered individualized assistance. Each step of the admissions/re-admissions process is guided by a dedicated staff member to facilitate a seamless transition, as well as ongoing support throughout the initiative.
• Yes-Together students will receive one-on-one counseling sessions with their  Transformation Coach. Short and long-term goals will be created together.
• Yes-Together students are provided with life skills and job readiness workshops, job referrals, and a full range of social services to facilitate a smooth transition into college.
• Yes-Together is a small but strong community. The team will check in with you regularly to ensure your needs are met.
