Yes-Together: A Bold Solutions Initiative
Yes-Together: A Bold Solutions Initiative is a new, innovative program dedicated to Staten Island’s young adults ages 18-22. We welcome students who were previously enrolled in college and stopped-out or are first-time college students who have delayed entry into college.
This initiative is made possible by the generous grant funding of the Carroll and Milton Petrie Foundation and the Heckscher Foundation for Children.
About the Yes-Together: A Bold Solutions Initiative
Yes-Together students partner with a dedicated support team who holistically supports each student’s unique journey and strategically advances them forward toward success.
Participating students are given an individualized action plan with referrals and support to address their unique needs. Students can attend school while connecting to job opportunities with our partnering organizations. A clear, direct path towards academic and professional success is the main goal of the program.
- Yes-Together staff guide students through each step of the admissions/re-admissions process to ease student transition into college.
- Yes-Together students are provided with life skills and job readiness workshops, ensure a successful college experience.
- Yes-Together students receive one-on-one counseling sessions with a Transformation Coach. Short and long-term goals are created together.
- Yes-Together provides wraparound support, connecting students to needed resources, job referrals and networking opportunities on Staten Island.
- Exclusive social events are held throughout the semester for Yes-Together students, including game days, scavenger hunts, and holiday celebrations.
- Yes-Together is a small but strong community, strengthening each student one at a time.
