Beyond the Classroom

Your college experience shouldn't be built on classes alone. It should also allow you to gain knowledge and skills outside the classroom, to explore your interests, develop new ones, and to discover the world. CSI offers a wide range of opportunities for students to get involved on campus, in their community and to travel the world.

While at CSI, you will be able to join one of more than 50 clubs and organizations (or start your own). By doing so, you will meet people who share your interests, obtain new skills and make memories of a lifetime.

If you are looking to explore, develop and expand your leadership skills for instance, you can do so by joining the Emerging Leaders Program. ELP promotes leadership, excellence and civic engagement opportunities focused on leadership skills, collaboration and decision making, conflict resolution, cultural competency, goal setting and civic engagement and service.

Athletics - Be a player or a fan of one of our competitive NCAA Division II Intercollegiate Sports teams, many of which have won numerous championship titles. Our Sports and Recreation program is also committed to providing opportunities to enhance the physical, social and emotional well-being of the entire campus.

In addition to getting involved in student clubs and organizations, you will also have an opportunity to make a difference in your local community by participating in volunteering programs. Through such experiences, you will learn and grow but most importantly give back to others.

If you are interested in exploring new cultures, learning another language, discovering new places, expanding your horizons then study abroad is for you. CSI offers programs to Australia, China, Costa Rica, England, France, Italy, Japan and many other countries around the world.

There's more to college than the classroom. Reach beyond your expectations!
