Transfer Students

After admission and commitment to CSI, the Center for Advising and Academic Success (CAAS) will evaluate credits of transfer students for advanced standing. Final degree credit for transfer work depends upon grades earned and College and departmental requirements. CAAS will also assist with advisement and registration.

In preparation:

  1. Make sure that you have accepted the offer of admission on CUNYFirst. Here are the instructions on how to do it.
  2. Please watch this video on what you need to know before enrolling for classes at CSI.
  3. Review the CSI’s Advisement & Registration Training on Blackboard.
  4. Submit health records to Health and Wellness Center. Please also review the Student Vaccination Mandate FAQ.
  5. After you have been admitted, your transfer credit report will be completed in CUNYFirst.
  6. Make sure that you have submitted the most updated transcript to the Office of Recruitment and Admissions. With questions, please call 718.982.2010.
